Sure he'll forgive you. Not sure how he got his name, but have the same thoughts with the currency thing. Top skills though with so many layers, it's unreal.

I hmm'd and ahh'd about these all week. I even had a brief chat with penny about it. I think the 'euro blocs' could become interesting if the uk vote to leave the eu. I did ask about the jump in price between the £20 and £50 as it doesn't seem logical to me. Penny said people think the £50 is more exclusive. Didn't add up my view, but who am I.
Well done those who bought. I'm a big fan and you made a sound purchase.
Peace

I asked Penny about his motivation for the 'Bang on the Money' piece. He said it is mainly about the the country being held to ransom through patriotism, and that he'd tried to convey that with the Union Jack hanging out of the gun like a BANG flag from a joke shop. He explained that he wanted the piece to have all the tension and malevolence of a gun being held to someone's head, while ultimately being futile.

If the 50£ piece was only an extra 30 pounds than the 20£ note it definitely would be more sought after.. But if they both are 1/10 they're equally limited so realistically they shouldn't be. If you think about it too though, a canvas might cost an artist $10 vs a $5 piece of archival paper yet the canvas generally sells for more than just a extra $5.

Do a quick googling to get it. Do a DNS IP lookup to get name of registrar... then to confirm this, do a search on Google with the family name you just found but this time but restricted to Penny'FB page only (e.g. site:https://www.facebook.com/onepennypiece/ [name]). Check results (4 only) on Google and see that name popping up, he "own-liked" some posts on Penny page using his private a FB account. That's the guy ! Don't think it is a big secret, not giving the name in respect of artist "branding" commitment Think the same, 50 or 20 or 10, it is all the same to me... a defaced currency !! Why such difference in price ?
