I bought the first print release and as far as I'm concerned it definitely going to make the wall. However I've gotta admit this image isn't for me looks out of balance. I like a lot of his other works and I think it my eyes this is one of his poorer ones.

I just took The Grim Reaper to the framer today, I also checked my email to see the invite to buy this piece. In the end too many other pieces I would prefer on my wall though to pull the trigger on this one.

Please don't take Tabby's work too seriously (unless you want to take it seriously). Let it be fun for a little while.
Edit: I've only just realised that I've been thinking of Tabby as Australian all this time.

I know he had the "Queen challenge" for that piece, but he should seriously consider donating that to the royal collection. Just imagine the things he see searching for the stock photo, or maybe auditioned at the local old people's homes. Looking for Queen body double

yeah, I do like some of his stuff, the ballerinas for instance and his two portraits of the joker were stunning love his work on the sydney street too
badrobot once summed up his work very well, and I paraphrase (please feel free to put me right badrobot) in that he's a bit old to be producing super hero work and needs to find a decent muse to take his work to another level/place the ballerina series which poetically captures poise and movement, in a street version of degas pastels (at a pinch)

The Queen piece is horrendous and the No Fly List I am not a fan of either.
I am sorry I missed out on Grim Reaper, they were still available when I was looking.
