Inspired by Nouveau Realism, decollage, torn street posters and artists such as Jacques Villeglé, Faile and Raymond Hains Steve has produced some works to run alongside the show "Ink". Ink is currently at the Duke of York theatre, and is about Rupert Murdoch's purchase of The Sun newspaper. Steve has focused on the media's lawless celebrity obsession and how it has affected lives. The subject of this work is Princess Diana, whereby he produced pieces based on her life in the public eye, and the consequences of the medias intrusion. He also has taken quotes from Diana as well as a headline from The Sun newspaper that has been changed slightly, but still seen underneath. There are 20 originals pieces that are a mix of painting and screen printing. the sizes are about 50cm x 70cm Unframed or before i frame them the cost is £360 each, which for an original is pretty good i think, you can have a closer look at the website in link below link dark house
