I've got two tickets for this talk ( Feb 21st, Boileroom in Guildford ) but can't now go ( I've got tickets instead for Sleaford Mods at the 100 Club - haven't been there since Discharge in the early 80's ) so if anyone wants a couple of free tickets for the evening drop me a PM.

If you're bored at work ( or elsewhere for that matter ), you can contribute to a new project by Gee Vaucher. Involves drawing stick people on an A4 sheet. Nothing taxing. Details here: www.exitstencilpress.com/page-2

Someone as good as Grant Hart deserves a whole f**king concert embedded. Managed to see Husker Du in '85. RIP Grant, and thanks for some great songs.

Having a great time. All work has been done in preparation for tomorrow, The Ritual. I'm a Great North Puller ( leg one ), which I believe involves the hauling of something somewhere in Liverpool. Will write a more comprehensive report of my return to civilisation, but I can recommend stealing a copy of The Times to read a review by Will Hodgkinson who's been embedded with us these last few days. Also check KLF Facebook page for the chaos, particularly the antics of Bill and Jimmy this morning. Looks awesome! Did you join BadgerKull? No, my name wasn't drawn out of the hat, but that's probably because I didn't say I could sing or play. They've been working under direction of Pete Wylie. Debut tomorrow at The Graduation Ball.

Maybe you have bought and sold, advertised and traded art on the forum, or you just simply enjoy being a member here and appreciate the forum and would like to give a little back. All donations are greatly appreciated, Thank you." Followed by a paypal link.

don't mean to do such an obvious one, but this piece still moves me every time I see it Obviously, the historic context is what drives it's power, but I've always loved it just as much (if not more) for another reason... this was Norman Fucking Rockwell, Mr. Saturday Evening Post, the image of Coca-Cola, the guy who has a painting in every doctor and dentist in America, waking up one day, looking around, and realizing that the status-quo aint right, and he's in a strong position to actually do something about it it might be one of the most daring, fuck you paintings of all time... ... it's an artist standing up for what they beleive in, even if it may cost them fame and fortune. It's Mr. Rockwell looking deep within himself and deciding that all of his artwork before it was meaningless and that his new cause was Civil Rights. Anyone know if there's any truth that the painting was used to "dress" the OJ Simpson house by defence attorney Johnnie Cochran before a tour of the house by the jury during the 1995 murder trial? It was. It's talked about in the recent documentary 'O J Simpson; Made in America.' Recommended viewing.
