In a previous life on an evil planet far far away, I attempted to secure another batch of NK hand painted posters. Obviously after enlisting a friend to pootle off to NK and collect them, it morphed into 100% pure fail. Friend is now settled in Beiijing as a language teacher( I put him onto this ) with a seemingly unending ( semi expolititive and borderline ummm) bevvy of Chinese girlfriends and facebook displays of thumping it on Bar street 4 nights a week. Its not going to happen, we have managed to agree.
So I am going to be returning myself before the end of the year with some chums. I will be sorting out some further posters and have made contact to see what I can get when I arrive in the totes appaling dictatorship.
if you are not familiar, these are hand painted NK propganda posters, probabaly in decent paper( all depends of course ) - usually big format, maybe 95x75 cm .
I will be listing them here but you have the *once in a lifetime chance* of getting one of these. Yes, it does partially subsidise my trip, I make no bones of that, but is hardly a profit making venture- will only start sorting out the orders and paymenr when I return
if you are interested, drop me a mail with an idea of themes required. I cannot guiarantee fuck all, but is useful to have a rough list.There will be a handful of people on here know what they are like
cost will be about 110/115 quiods + PP. US residents be aware that these are maybe verboten. but obviously anything will be sent in plain packaging.

nope not personally but apparently some people have been pulled at the border with them. As I will be sending them form the UK, it wont be an issue - they are nor directly coming from NK

Yeah I'd be in , if I don't blow your tube , ab... Still I'd reckon foetus works to top the nk works.. But still could be cool , likewise without hand cranked wooden weapons (On a side note I bought a b from a collector a few years back who managed to secret some orig Cuban works out of... Cuba... Ended up on AR on the telly... ) |

If anyone wants to know how to frame these, I'd say the cheapest possible way and then give the difference that you would've spent to an organisation helping defectors.

I noticed about a week ago, people were still posting to this thread. Except actungbono either deleted or changed accounts, so I'm not sure if this is still happening. Anyhow I recalled four or five years back buying a North Korean note from some gun show. I had it stowed away in a safe somewhere and went searching for it. If anyone's a note collector, I'll send it your way. The only exception is you had to have posted or liked a post from this thread. That's only fair.
