I'm pretty sure there will be a massive upsurge and knowing the Laz I wouldn't bet on there not being some type of paraphernalia supporting the show. People went mad for the paint pot angel poster last year, folks go cross eyed for anything remotely affiliated with Banksy. Who knows (or cares in my case).. |

Throw out your Valium, people, all the joy you’ve been looking for in the miserable nooks and crannies of your terrible life is just around the corner because a fairly substantial show of work by anonymous street art badboy Banksy is coming to London this July. The show will be taking place at Lazinc in Mayfair, a gallery owned by Steve Lazarides who is credited with launching Banksy’s career. Big Steve is promising a ‘museum-style’ show of Big Banksy’s ‘greatest hits’, featuring work from 2002-2008 – yeah, the golden years. Hooo mama, is it hot in here?! There’ll be prints and paintings, and lots of it will be for sale. But don’t get too excited, they don't call him Bank-sy for nothing: this art ain't cheap.
'Banksy, Greatest Hits: 2002-2008' is at Lazinc Gallery Jul 12-Aug 25 and is free to visit.

i guess the lazfeather's show may be of interest to those relatively new to what went on.
his new venture could do with a shed load of new contacts for the all important contact database for future shows... all that went before aye well that's one in the bin i guess.(aka churn)
all done, as one might say, in the best possible taste.
