i've tried to for the past couple of year - but have not actually managed to get to a shop ;<
pretty well clued into what happening though.
(I have mate who creates a list every year travels a long way to Rough Trade ..and spends a not insubstantial amount of uk on his ... attempt).
this year ? hmm not sure - i hear it's getting pretty mainstream .. which may kill it off for some.

This... RSD has been absolutely ruined, and is now a torrent of wholly unnecessary and massively overpriced major label reissues that will sit clogging up the shelves for the rest of the year. Everyday is record store day as far as I'm concerned. And I'm not a big fan of flipping through records when the shop is packed and I've got somebody looking over my shoulder and breathing in my ear. It just makes for an unpleasant experience. |
