Thanks Commissioner and justdave . If I drove I'd be there most days and would help some of you guys out. . Was great fun. The rush when they released the teaser pic of location on twitter, then not knowing the spot and frantically searching google for an address for bella italia cov, then puttin the address into google maps and leaving the mrs to look round sainsburys and running. Damn. It was so hot in the sun. Scorching in coventry today. It nearly killed me and everywhere was white so I was blinded haha As I always say, dedication is the key! Congrats to your find. Did you meet any other weirdos during your hunt? P.S. With "weirdo" I mean art lovers. I consider myself a weirdo, well actually my friends consider me that way. But I came to terms with it.

So we painted a show about history. Whilst the show is still up until 4th October in Coventry, it will soon be painted over. This is nothing new to us, as work on the street can be taken down as quickly as it went up. However, some of you enjoyed the show so much, you wanted to have a copy of it. Others of you are in lands far away and didn't have the opportunity to visit the exhibition. With that in mind, we put together a chunky book packed with all 282 important inventions, vital discoveries and notable figures that feature in the show's timeline. This high quality book is a first edition of 125 copies, with a 350gsm cover and 170gsm pages insides, all in full colour. In addition to all the timeline entries, there are a number of photos from the show and a nice little interview The Herbert conducted with us. Each book is also hand signed and numbered. There is also 'Legacy' collector's edition of this book also currently available. This is a preorder for the 'A History Of Us' book and is expected to ship 28th September. DETAILS : 'A History Of Us' DIMENSIONS: A5 page size (14.8cm by 21cm) MEDIUM: Digital print MATERIAL: Cover is 350gsm paper stock, internal pages are 170gsm paper stock EDITION SIZE: First edition of 125 MISCELLANEOUS: Signed and numbered, 324 pages, full colour PRICE Available to purchase for £15, plus shipping. www.pahnl.co.uk/store/ahoubook.php

Smuggling books into school can't be too hard, just make sure it does not look like a clock that looks like a bomb

I was always pretty good at smuggling myself out of school....how hard can it be to get in??
Congrats on the book, it looks simpky amazing! Sorry to have missed out on the legacy version but can't wait to give this a read and learn about everything I missed in school the first time round (plus a few things I suspect they "forgot" to cover).

Sold out but a second run just announced on the site:
Due to overwhelming demand, we are releasing a second edition of the book immediately. This will be an edition of 150 and is exactly the same in contents as the first edition. The only difference is that the first edition books will have 'First Edition' on the inside cover and the second edition will have 'Second Edition'. The Herbert Art Gallery & Museum subsidized the first run of books but due to printing costs involved on the second edition, the price will now be £20, which is totally a bargain for this tome!

Today is the last day if you want to visit this rather excellent show. I think The Herbert closes at 4:00 today. If you're in the Coventry area and want to have a laugh, or if your partner is in Ikea and you just can't stand looking at another meatball or cushion, why not pop over and spend an entertaining afternoon learning about the history of man(and woman)kind.
I went last week and it's brilliant. It's really incredible, the amount of work that Pahnl put into this. Very funny and well put together. I loved it.
Well done to Pahnl and The Herbert. And if you're reading this Herbert, thank you for continuing to be a fun and creative environment for artists.
