Really interesting piece on Sky last night interview with Princess Rania of Jordan.
Jordan is a pretty poor country but not desperate in anyway. Lovely country and great great people.
She was saying they currently have 1.4 million Syrians in Jordan which is now the equivalent of 20% of their population and although struggling to cope they are doing so.
Given the population ratios she noted that the numbers they are coping with is the equivalent of 12 million coming into the UK and 60 million arriving in Germany.
Think really is a terrible burden on them and Lebanon who are really struggling to cope

To be fair my point was not about what the UK/Europeans are doing as all that have arrived in Europe will get sorted eventually etc my real concern is that the appearance of so many in Europe does kind of out media those that are in much poorer countries like Lebanon and Jordan whose numbers are really vast. The whole of Europe is struggling on a few hundred thousand yet those two relitively poor small countries are dealing with between 2 and 3 million. So just shouting their corner for the great and generous work those countries and their leaders and peoples are doing |

sorry for the slow going, but the wait will be worth it... artist donations are trickling in and I think everyone is going to be blown away with what's been donated. definitely worth the wait to get some really great pieces for a great cause

last call for donations... waiting on a few artists to get their pieces finished then we'll start promoting and listing. All 3 charities are aware and on board and will be helping us promote.
I'm getting really excited to show everyone all the amazing pieces donated. It really is overwhelming.... it's gonna be a lot of fun for a great cause
