release a print?
As many of you know, I'm in the process of starting a print house focusing on affordable, low run, hand made prints by up and coming artists. I've got a few artists lined up, but I'd love to hear some suggestions on artists who are either a) up and coming or b) have been around but never released a print (or rarely do so). I'm not in it for the money - I just genuinely love the printing process and supporting the arts, so why not combine my two passions?
Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to post them here or via PM
Cheers, B

I nominate this image:
It'd sell like hotcakes (locally) and would make a lot of people happy. I envision a simple two or three color affair. Black, grey and (of course) pink. No background, just the statue and it's addition.
You could be responsible for printing my first ever public work! And I'll pay all the costs.
I am an artist to watch

Tabby? Work is very affordable right now, and he seems like a genuinely good guy. Certainly strongly derivative of Mr. B, and some will always struggle with that, but he's producing some good images at an affordable price point.

I see big things for the both of them in the future I've got a few artists lined up... hope to announce them in the near future, but am always looking to find new artists to work with

What would I like to see ? hmm perhaps something by paulo ito. It would have to be something humourous and not too .. dark. He might do it - you never know. I know his mate Alex Senna was over here last year.. if it was non profit he'd be keener - i'd think. here's a topical image he did last year. his world cup image .. was in quite al ot of papers - so you'd know that already

The Puerto Rican artist Bikismo I reckon is going to fly. His street pieces are phenomenal using the metallic detail . The detail is similar to Fanakapan but on a grander scale. Definitely one to watch. Check out his recent dog piece.
