Aside from the '27 Club' a majority of celebs live to a ripe old age but disappear into obscurity once they are no longer in the spotlight for whatever reason.

I'm certain that it's crossed your mind previously when you've seen an obituary for a celeb that you had thought they were already deceased, it has mine.

nonconformist I thought being an art forum full of creativity one could come up with a more creative way to give away art. Winning a piece of art based on someones date of death, I feel, shows disrespect and in no way honours their life in such an event as yours, no matter how much you try and justify it with your tagline.

If I read an obituary about someone who I hadn't realised had passed away, I would probably read or watch something by them if i admired their work or I learned something about them from the obit writing.

You even have a preference of A-listers deaths over reality stars lol go back to the drawing board. I wouldn't want to look at a piece of art I won everyday at home in this way with that back story, but that's just me. good luck!

johnnyh A majority of street / urban art can be perceived as being offensive. For example - the local council in Clacton-on-Sea removed Banksy's 'Protesting Birds' as it was deemed racist. Did you personally find that piece offensive?
