Yes, excellent film it summed up the vibe perfectly. I remember Elaine from the scooter rallies in the 80's we've frequented the same dance floors many times. Loved that the main character in the movie wrote graffiti, my entry point to the graffiti world too Is the film really good? I've had it to watch for a while, but was wary of being disappointed. I used to go to a northern soul night in Brisbane, of all places and the fuckers couldn't half dance... Well it's not your average blockbuster movie however if you've ever had any connection to Northern Soul you'll probably enjoy it? The nostalgia value alone is worth it and obviously a great selection of tunes... give it a go and let us know what you think?

Video leaves me speechless Everyone will tell you it is hard to let go of pain... and it is. Since we are children we have been told to embrace the best of our experiences & disregard the worst... But what happens when the most beautiful memories from our past end up doing the most damage to our future? How do we let go? How do we move forward? The past is comfortable The past is familiar The past is the prison I'm fighting to escape Amazing video,in every way beautiful. Thank you for posting curiousgeorge not something I would of discovered normally .

Love Kate Bush – not sure why, given my predilection for Anarchopunk. Guess it's the screeching?
Perfect/nonsense cant work it oot.

^^^ Like liquid silk
Stevie Wonder rocks up to a cafe because of the sounds he could hear. Likes the vibes so set up his keyboard.Looks like the guy playing tambourine knows the secret of life!

have to be in the right mood but his music has comforted me in some dark times
"Listen up and I'll tell a story About an artist growing old Some would try for fame and glory Others aren't so bold
Everyone in friends and family Sayin "hey get a job Why do you only do that only Why are you so odd?
"We don't really like what you do We don't think anyone ever will It's a problem that you have And this problem's made you ill"
Listen up and I'll tell a story About an artist growing old Some would try for fame and glory Others aren't so bold
The artist walks alone Someone says behind his back "He's got his gall to call himself that He doesn't even know where he's at"
The artist walks among the flowers Appreciating the sun He does this all his waking hours But is it really so wrong
They sit in front of their tv Sayin "hey this is fun" And they laugh at the artist Saying "he doesn't know how to have fun"
The best things in life are truly free Singing birds and laughing bees You got me wrong says he The sun don't shine in your tv
Listen up and I'll tell a story About an artist growing old Some would try for fame and glory Others aren't so bold
Everyone in friends and family Sayin' "hey get a job Why do you only do that only Why are you so odd?
"We don't really like what you do We don't think anyone ever will It's a problem that you have And this problem's made you ill"
Listen up and I'll tell a story About an artist growin' old Some would try for fame and glory Others just like to watch the world"
and probably one of the best covers of all time:
and here's the man himself.... simply amazing (anyone not familiar - he has multiple mental and physical health problems - hence the shaking)
"I took my lucky break and I broke it in two. "
