Did you know that I met her when she was a young girl - as me lol - . We played before Rip Rig and Panic ( we made the first part with my band in a concert ) . She was beautiful ( I still have the pic with their band backstage or on stage can’t remember ), clothed as a rastamangirl ! I loved this band then, better than Pigbag. I know since few months that Rip Rig and Panic were from Brizzle ! |

You've seen Tom Waits live Roy? Impressed, as he never played live that much.. Yes, I was a fan ( trying to sing as him lol ) and in front of the stage at Eldorado ( if my memory is good ) . And more incredible, he signed me an autograph ! As I was a real fan, I tried after each concert to go to the loggia and to spend times or ask autographs. I known were was the artists way out , in a dark impass and I waited in the night .. Then , majestueux and classy, I saw him coming, tall , a giant, in the arms of a girl ... I asked him an autograph ( he was really really tired - and drunk maybe - after the concert ) .. he watched me and with the head he said “ no “ and keep continuing walking to a Cadillac.. He entered in it with the girl, the Cadillac went on and ... stopped ! He opened the dark window and asked me to come.., and as a prince, royal, with his long hands he signed me my bit of paper ! And then went on again .. It was magical ! As in a foggy movie from another age .., ( one of my ex girlfriend stole me all my autographs ! Cramps, Stray cats, all the Coconuts, Iggy, Fab 5 Freddy and Fururz ( big ones with a marker on my jacket that I lhave lost too ) and a lot , can’t remember which ones, I am typing In my bed . ) But this instant with Tom’Waits , wow ! |
