After a very busy year painting murals at international Street Art festivals in Tahiti, Roskilde Festival in Denmark and on the Las Vegas strip. Mr Cenz brings us something different with this small and intimate show hosted by Proof Gallery. This is a completely unique series of work focusing specifically on his unique drawing, graphic and illustrative skills.
It all started as an experiment in his studio on a rainy day when he couldn't hit the streets as usual. He began to create 'mini walls' by refining his style to a tiny scale and experimenting with spray-paint on paper. These quickly became a natural extension of his blackbook works, which have always been an important part of his repertoire. The more these pieces developed the more detailed, in-depth and intricate they became. Starting to take on a life of their own Mr Cenz spent hours creating these small futuristic fantasy worlds where machines and nature co-exist and collide. The work still features his trademark female faces but in an even more visionary, mythological and ethereal way.
