Please feel free to openly comment on this, as a full set of Stik (4) Piggy backs have been offered for my trolleys...I think its not good for me, but Stik seems to be flying (hype at least) so longevity says?

I got a colour trolleys and I wouldn't touch that swap with a barge pole.. Are Stik prints now worth £2k?

That's my view, just wanted to see if it was a general consensus, guess some Stik lovers will differ.

Look at it this way. In 20 years will Banksy still be collectable? I'd bet a huge yes. Will Stik? More so than a forum hyped no hoper such as Whatson but I'd bet Banksy prints will be worth more than 4 times a Stik print.

Most definitely keep the Banksy. Personally, no amount of Stik could make me want to trade a Colour Trolleys for it (or any Banksy print for that matter).

Is the Banksy unsigned or signed,? As much as I love trolleys, I personally think these high prices for any unsigned print are ridiculous, especially if it's from a living artist still producing work

Then again, I think Banksy prints in general are way overpriced. 70k is enough to buy a small house or a shit load or original work from a ton of other artists

On a phone and didn't read the thread title... In that case, no, don't do it. Maybe a Stik and three other prints but I think you'd regret loosing a signed print for four of the same image, unless you're a giant Stik fan. My guess is you might get bored of the Stik set and trade or sell 2 or 3 of them eventually

Exactly, never been a big follower of Stik until the last release, and for some reason I really liked it, and I think the image spoke a lot. Since then have been flitting through and quite catching on me, but yes, a set of 4 albeit different colourways, is not the way to go...I will continue in my quest for a silver sleeping baby! Think this thread is done. Thanks all.

Not planning to sell my Trolleys, was an offer on the table and I was after some opinions as to where that stood in peoples views, the only Stik I really want is a Silver Baby. @ Still hate thatcher - you know I did.

All 750 were signed by Banksy... Or were they?

Post by sleepy on Oct 21, 2015 21:19:07 GMT
UK '07 edition was 750 signed colour prints, 500 unsigned white prints and 150 signed white prints, then you have the LA edition '06 something like(excuse my memory or precision) 500 unsigned prints to buy at the 'Barely Legal' show, but only around 100 were sold, a few signed low editions and others went to special sales not general. Then The Bethlehem edition...just 28, simple really! lol.

Be interesting to see what happens with stiks prices, I think they will just level off and be stable as he doesn't release too many prints. Your Banksy print may go up in value or may go down a bit but still if you purchased from pow at the drop either way your not doing too bad Win win

I like Stik but I do ask what can he do next with his art , im not sure. There are plenty of others artists that are as gifted that get overlooked
