I am pleased yeah. Now to get it on canvas for the mother in law. I started this piece as a personal challenge just to see if i could 'level up' and if it turned out well enough, I promised my wife I'd paint one for her mum (massively in love with tigers lol).

What blades are you Opie? I have switched from Xacto to Olfa. The Olfa ones are shorter and work a lot better for me.

In all honesty, I don't know lol. I get them from hobbycraft and they come in a tube with a red lid. I actually amaze myself with my knowledge sometimes

Have a search for Olfa on ebay. You can buy the knife with 25 blades, for a good price. You'll have to wait a while as it ships from Asia, but buying blades in packs of 25 is pretty cheap. You'll definitely notice the difference in quality with these blades
