I am sorry ... As a Royston traitor could be ... I just post this on the other border and, as I read, nobody read it, answered it ( but now I know that I am not welcome in the Popeyes the seller thread ) Or understood it ... So I copy paste it here ? Is it a fault I don't know. Mostly of my mates are here , there I have some enemies .anyway my thread was this one ? Is it a good one or not ? Anyway never mind, we are all men momen and living on this planet at the moment. Cheers !
Here it comes ( ball blag blah ) :
My thread will be short ( out ! I hear you ) as I am on the phone. Banksy ate them all ? Now we can buy the signed print/poster of Roa ( the bear ) for one single dollar ( I know , I tried to bid on it ). For only 200 £ you coul bought the 3 printed records of the Year of the Rabbit ( before, last year, not so far, you could have only one for 250 quids ) ... You can still find some prints in sale of other artists , before it was quicker - as a rabbit .
Now, price are so low for street-art,incredible ! But upside down, some mostly unknown before in" contemporary art " as Paco Pomet, Shrigley,Cauty, Joyce, etc... " goes " at a good price on eBay ! I wonder how will be a next Daleast ( ok , there will be still flippers to buy them )
I think Invader will still ( not sure his last prints - apart Ziggy and some classics " goes " at an honest price -or don't find buyers - notice that they don't take any value ! Still around 400 etc... ( here you like prices so it talk priceless ) Look, obey, The Protester that was at 400 during years is now at 200 or less, the beautiful ( around 300 ) Imperial Glory at only 80 quids ! And others less... Rest Stik still with a lot of demands and.. Banksy ! But who is Banksy and almost where is Banksy ?! Hidden in a Big yellow iron Smiley or in a Disnaland actor or artist ?
Is my post enough short and stupid ? Yes ? Thank you !
Ps: to answer to the question in the title , I don't know , I am not working at Scotland Yard.

Roy, you truly are someone i wished lived next door to. We would have such fun and do great things. Street art is expanding, let's find the new, exciting ones.

Ebb and flow. People see new or cool things and want them. Look at the art forums and how excited some people get when they're introduced to the work of new or previously unknown artists. They then all rush to buy. Sometimes because they genuinely love it, but I think in some cases it's because they're afraid to miss out on the next big thing. Maybe not even just to make money out of it, but to avoid that regret that a lot of us have for passing over "cheap" Banksy work when we had the chance.
Anyway, Dismaland introduced a lot of new people to artists in the POW stable and the field beyond. That's fine. We all had plenty of time to stock up on cheap Cauty prints if we wanted to. Now it's their time in the sun and other artists and prints can have a rest for a bit. Stuff never falls too far though. People won't let it. Nobody buys art to lose money... LOL
Half the battle (and fun) is finding new artists. We get to see a tiny, tiny fraction of the work that's being produced. You really have to look beyond what's advertised or spoon-fed to us. I mean, just think about how many artists you can name, how many artists are routinely mentioned or purchased on the art forums, then think about how many artists there must be out there.
Perhaps we should all try to post about at least one new artist each week? Y'know, help out artists and we might see something we like? If there's no flappable print release involved or it's not to anyone's taste, not the end of the world, but it might help to give some other artists a bit of exposure?
Sorry, it's late here and I have no idea what I'm talking about.

Funny but Wasted Rita - I know that sir Plio like her - had no incidence after Dismaland ... She still seems alone and lonely, no hurry , no rush for her prints... She has a website where she sales some ... Most at underdogs I had one anyway ! I won it !! Before the show ! www.under-dogs.net/shop/There is a nice Vhils too ...

I love Wasted Rita, but I don't think her sales have really benefited from the Dismaland effect, as she didn't really have a lot of merchandise around to sell in the first place. No doubt though that her work was loved by the Dismaland visitors. People were all over her paste-ups. I think her profile has benefited from Dismaland certainly.

It will calm down. Think there is still some of the madness going on.
It was only over just over a month ago so will take a little while to calm down. So the end of show selling cycle is still running with artists and org's and flippers etc still trying to hit it
itwill soon calm down as usual

Are they really behind the scenes photos though? They look more like..........scenes. The Daily Mail can buy my images if they like? In fact, let's all sell our Dismaland photos to the Daily Mail and put all that money into buying Banksy prints.

Yes, It was strange, I saw that these photos we " posed " , I mean, not spontaneous.realky weird for some pics.. I don't think anyway that they bought them ( ordinary people, no stars , no importance for them - maybe they asked for free to their readers ) I don't like this newspaper, I just found these pics in Google news, and post the link like that, with no soul, in case if a member will recognize himself ...

Oh well, if they're not paying for them, they can get stuffed. If they want REAL behind the scenes photos, then there's plenty more where these exclusive photos come from: Do you like what you see, Mr editor of the Daily Mail? If so, then message me and bring your MASSIVE F**CKING CHEQUE BOOK. The Dr is feeling expensive. (All images are © Dr Plip. All rights reserved, so faaack off. I have desperate lawyers with knives)

Quite simple really : Banksy saw Graffitipints launching Classic Nouveau Riche, understood his market was shifting and decided to cash in on it...and voila : Dismaland !
Or something like that
