all other boards would still be open to guests.

Its been done on other forums, not usually a good idea... Promotes an us / them mentality, which has a habit of festering ( see similar " forum guardian" threads elsewhere). Either make a forum private, and therefore only viewable to those who are members, or accept that there will always be those who want to mine forums for info without contributing. Creating a private section is neither chips nor rice.

I don't think it will do anything like mouser suggests, simply because it will not be dividing any members at all. Only people who are not members anyway. It would then make more people join to see the super exciting secret stuff, however it doesn't mean they will post. You will just end up with higher member numbers, although they will just be lurkers anyway. However like mouser says, may as well stay public or go private, there is not really an inbetween  |

Him and his wife are really cool and amazing ! What a fiesta ! The two other members that I have met are great too ! You do what you want , but I am against that. It makes elitism and it's again democracy. I think that it is also contemptuous for people who are not members ( I know that it exists on the other side, even our friend Aza talked about yesterday ) ... Is there is one under/underground forum with Banksy speaking in the radio lol ? I am suffering enough of this - it is for me scandalous and the " block" button should be only used when there is insults, and real disputes etc - there, on the other board , they are ready ( as they say ) to help refugees , but ready also to keep forum beggars as me at the border ! Other forum where apart 6 or 8 members ( a big cheese to AP also ) , Nobody is talking to me ( I am an imbecile ? ) , and I have never answer not like on my answers , my threads etc .., Blocked. " Met " who is an amazing and respectuous member wrote me about that : they want to chase me and they made a consensus against me.
