We are delighted to let you know that we will be putting 500 more mats on sale today as a pre-order.
The demand for these beautiful mats is high and there are more people on the waiting list than mats available. Our plan is that this is not the last run of 500 to go on sale. If you are not successful this time then you will remain on the list.
Each mat is uniquely hand-made by the women we work with in refugee camps in Greece. It is a pre-order and we cannot tell you an exact delivery date at this time, due to the complexity of making mats in the camps, but by purchasing the item today it will guarantee you a mat as soon as it is ready and we expect this to be a quicker process then the first round.

people who are selected get emails that say "Congratulations - You have been picked to purchase a ...". are people getting it, or are we really that fucked?
i just hope that both the artist and the buyers are aware of the level of privilege going on here, and that these are real people's lives at stake. Disaster tourism is terrible
