I haven't framed it yet, I had put it in the wall without a frame and looks good. But I think I will go for a black frame grey back and no glass, I've seen one online and looked great Mine arrived as well now and it's great! I think I saw the one with the grey background too and I do agree, might be the best solution. But I probably go for the glass to get the best protection. Not because of sun or light, but because of the baby Will be interesting to see the reaction of my framer when I come with a doormat. But that might take a while until he is allowed to open again... Got a letter today that I have to pay nearly 200€ for importing a doormat from the uk to germany. F... brexit! I can't afford buying art from the uk anymore if that is the new normal.

Burned Banksy NFT Sets Art And Crypto Worlds Alight linkThat is some crazy shit... I think the idea of NFT’s as a way to pay artists a commission for any future sales of their work is interesting, but I hate everything else about it (I’d be happy for someone to tell me why I’m wrong)

Don’t you have reduced rate for original art? Isn’t this an editioned original (more akin to that than a print)? Might be worth seeing if you can get it reduced. And yes, fuck Brexit Signed European grandad

Burned Banksy NFT Sets Art And Crypto Worlds Alight linkI don’t get NFT. Nor do I want to. Signed Grandad But I mean it Brother man... This is from the forbes article: It might be difficult for some to grasp why art-based digital tokens have value. Alex Atallah, the founder of NFT marketplace OpenSea, believes if you spend hours every day on the computer, in the digital realm, then art in the digital realm makes tonnes of sense, because it is the world. This is exactly why NFT art will fail. Physical art will become even more valuable because it serves as an escape from the digital world. We are human after all. Nature v nurture, our nature is crave the physical world we train ourselves to seek stimulus from the digital world. Hence why people pay a lot of money to go on dates and pick folks up at bars or go to the strip club even though porn hub is free. Just sayin’ As for paying artists premiums etc, i am all for it, but the resale market exists and always will. In the artists case it serves to set the market value for their work. All they need to do is keep up the prices and they will be just fine.

But apart from that, not a clue. But I really don’t want to know. If it can’t be scrawled on a wall, or hung on my wall, I’m out.

I wonder too.... the guy must tired, he stopped doing prints after seeing the queue's tantrums and having to deal with daddy-boys overloading Pest Control with request to flip their print/COA... and now this, Banksy being f*cked by capitalists and corporatists...
This marks the end of graffiti art, free domain guerilla-like.... all these artists taking Banksy as a model will know think twice before spraying art on wall; they will only do it on sponsored wall with agreement contract for merchandising.... because at the end of it, if they don't merchandise their own products, they will loose it. Also, very few will stay anonymous.... and no more anti-IP and anti-copyright statements. Yeah, artists will become tools of the merchandisers.
As for GPO 2.0, I wish Banksy could sell all his art, prints, cards, etc., all unlimited edition... as well as cards. He should flood the market.... or even better, ask a printing company in Europe to work with NGOs to merchandise them.
I just hope he won't turn into a capitalist douchebag himself, selling his own products at inflated prices... and doing stupid things like NFT and auctions only.

Well that was a mad few hours on Insta wathching these pop up.
Noticing the boat vanishing, the chips being unveiled & the demise of the sandcastle..
Weather is shite her so I looked into the trains. 7.5hrs to Lowestoft put a dampner on things.
Heres hoping they hang around for better weather as I'd love to get to them.

I love that rat! Can't really tell if there was a stencil used on some parts or none at all. However it was done, it looks great! Probably I'm just missing something at the moment, but I can't remember seeing any other work of him in such a style..? The seagul is similiar and looks great as well. Like he used a stenciled picture as sketch for the free hand painting. The others are great as well and the boat and the claw are my favourites of those, but the style of the rat and the seagul make them stand out for me.
