This place is like the UAA afterlife. Better than afterbirth I suppose? Some apparently cook and eat the afterbirth, theres a mcdonalds within 3 miles of 80% of all humans you dirty animals!! Eat a big mac! |

Apparently some people use the afterbirth to plant trees in their backyards. I always wondered, would the tree be some sort of distant relative of the child the afterbirth came from? And if it was a fruit tree, would the fruit be like the child's cousins or something? Makes you think. |

While we're on topic my wife told me a story about a man who planted a tree in his front garden and when he came back from work he hung all his worries on the tree and on the way back to work he picked them up again, fuckin weird Weird. I wonder what the moral of that story is? I'm all for taking worries to work with you. Especially if you're operating a boring lathe or bandsaw. |

All very true of course but what you actually have is just people who collect and talk about art. Any one is welcome FairPlay to the fella or lady who set this up. No having your application approved and waiting for ages, you were allowed to post as a guest make your comments etc. So does make you wonder doesn't it. You might want to pop over more often as your welcome to. Hope some of the other UAA members do as some great people on there. It's the management that's fu*ked |

Even wrote to Silky never replied or explained just sent word back through Sohoria that it was permanent. He has banned loads of people on whim nothing new at all. Same this daft gaurdian thing they are all on at FRange. But Silky new that would happen that's why he made him one took all the talk off him banning people for nothing. Now everyone is arguing about FR. |

A shame to see them banning folks that actually have some knowledge. It seems most of the active posters joined within the last year and have already proclaimed themselves experts. Absolutely, ive only been on the board a few years, ive met so many older members with unbelieveable knowledge, alot have been banned, left or just dont feel like joining in anymore, so many experts like you say. If silky had any business sense hed understand the importance of the knowledgable members, thats the foundation, why it is where it is. |

Yep @steamship £100/month per banner, at one stage i think there was 17 banners, 12 top 5 bottom, it actually has potential to bring in a lot more, its 4k a year on artnet and you can only add 5 new images a month, uaa has alot of traffic it just isnt utilised, it wouldnt be difficult to add other methods of income but not the way its going.

I just can't take the arrogant attitude. Funny, it's all hands off until someone merely looks at him the wrong way and then, and only then, does he rule with an iron fist.
The implementation of the "Guardian" position by people with questionable history, or barely any knowledge is just icing on the cake.

What he doesn't seem to understand is that he simply provides the playground, which isn't particularly hard to replicate (see: this forum). It is the membership that make up the true value of the forum.
