Couple of nice hand finished RWB prints on eBay at the moment - seller looks keen to sell as the price has been dropping regularly.
Nothing to do with me and I have the print reference piece of RWB so I'm out but thought someone might like them.

not a great pic but they we're put away before i realised. Very nice indeed I went for the silver, so now the owner of my first cashman. Lovely print, but unfortunately very bad packing by prescription art. I will certainly think twice before ordering anything of any value off them again. First half of the print has cracks in the silver leaf where it had been rolled tight. Also the print was stuck to the inside of the tube and I had to put my hand in to try and unravel it. It looks like yours were sent flat packed, so you probably didn't have these issues. Lovely pieces by Carl, but unfortunately trashed by prescription art

Its only down the road. Did you get in touch with Prescription? Im pretty sure they would sort that out for you. They were packing when i got mine, it all looked like pretty standard practice to me. Nothing that i would expect to be any sort of problem. Think you've just been unlucky with your one. Give them a shout and let them have a chance to sort it for you.

I haven't contacted them, purely because I can't be arsed to get involved with sending it back and then being told there are no more available, blah blah blah. I am getting it framed with a mount soon to hide the minor dings. I will also roll the other half of the print to give the same effect in the silver leaf, hopefully! I would have rather paid extra money though to have it shipped flat. Surely anyone with any experience would know that the leaf would be damaged if rolled to tight!

I don't see that your comments are very fair. You havnt given them a chance to sort it. If you "can't be arsed" i don't see what they can really do.

Maybe if it was an expensive print I would have been more concerned. I just seem to spend far too long trying to sort out issues with faulty or damaged goods, it ends getting me more pissed off. I would rather get it on the wall and enjoy it for what it is/was. Maybe I'll give it a go and contact them and see how it goes.

I have sent off a couple of pics to James from Prescription Art and waiting to hear back. It's difficult to try and show in the photo's as the light obviously reflects off the silver leaf, but would like to hear any thoughts of others that were sent rolled

Not been on for a while, lost my mobile in OZ due to Gin consumption.
Sorry if any of the love prints turned up damaged, it's worth contacting James as there are APs which he may be able to offer in return... They weren't for sale but he may be able to offer his up in this case, although it's just the specials that sold out. The 'normal' colour ways are still available
I can only apologise if you don't think the shots of me signing were a true representation.. The images we not edited in any way.

Cheers for the response Carl. I don't think the pics of you signing the prints were in any way misrepresented at all. I was just comparing it to the way my print looked after being packaged and received. It was hard to show in the photo's, but apart from the dings, it looks like the silver leaf has been cracked or marked, possibly due to rolling to tight. I think the print looks bloody great and I was really chuffed to get a silver, as that was my first choice. I didn't want a refund, as initially, I thought I wouldn't get a replacement, due to the sell out. Gardener said James still had some available, so have now returned it and I am waiting to hear back. By the looks of it, I think it's probably an isolated case and I just got unlucky! Hopefully if I get it replaced, it will be packaged more securely. It certainly won't discourage me from buying more Cashman's in the future

I'd say it's a learning curve for us both, neither had printed with leaf before so had no idea how it would ship... I guess shipping flat would have been an option but some people were not happy with the price of shipping a tube... Flat would have been double or triple
I hope you get it sorted and it doesn't put you off in the future

No probs at all Carl. Like I said, I was going to keep it as it was anyway and hide the edge dings anyhow, so if I get it replaced, then all is great. I sent it back yesterday and will let you know how I get on. I really liked your last work, so will certainly be on the hunt for an original soon, cheers

I've got a couple of updated shots to share, some of the images like the smiley pieces I've posted online were progress snaps... What's is the app I need to post images here ?

In which sense ? The gallery release the prints .. I have nothing to do with it other than supplying artwork. All I can do is pass a msg onto the gallery.... Especially while I'm on the other side of the world preparing for a show in San fransisco
