Perhaps a little more explanation will clear this thing up.... And now people know the deal and can leave it. Or perhaps sign up on that Stik forum and make a couple threads on it? |

From the photos I've seen, there are two...   I have not personally read an explanation as to the whereabouts of the first, but that's not to say one has not been provided somewhere. I don't read all the posts on the forum. What is the big deal and why is it so difficult to understand? And please let this topic die down, there has been lots of discussions on it already....... sigh..... People... read what has been written and said about it already. And let's please put this discussion to rest, it's getting old.Commissioner got a glossy poster AND a matt poster. Both signed to NBF as Commissioner (among others) runs the NBF instagram and he was taking pictures for the instagram when he got in touch with stik on his book signing. Stik signed them both to NBF ( Commissioner ). He got the glossy up in a frame and went ahead and auctions the matte (way more rare) one off for charity.... I can truly not see a problem in what he does. I am starting to think there has been a personal issue between @barking and Commissioner . But to fight it out over an auction for charity seems kinds low. Als accusing people without proof seems a little easy. I am in no way affiliated with UAA or NBF and i am not a staff-member, and i know Commissioner can defend for himself, but this topic is ruining more than one thread now. Take it to PM if you have issues please. You both made a clear statement on it. Leave it at that please. My 2¢ Spot on Json. This barking character is well...barking mad. And at the end of the day missioner has come through and is auctioning the poster. |

Excuse me because I'm new I love this thread. STIK is ridonculous. He's not anything new or "ooo look at that" he's a hype locomotive. And before anyone says - I do not own a STIK, I do not want to own a STIK. I went for dinner with a friend of mine who's done work all over the world. We chatted about banksy/Robbo fued as he did stuff around that time in town. We eventually got onto STIK and pretty much we came up with nothing. Big blocks of colours (I'm not that bright so I'm attracted to these) that you can hang in a nursery. Kids like it so rich people will buy. No satire or message, definitely free hand (which apparently banksy can't do I learnt on the same evening) but that doesn't make it great even though he strangles prints to make them more 'exclusive' |

I once didn't receive a print but the seller could provide 'proof' of postage so paypal rejected my refund request. Fortunately i was then able to do a chargeback through my credit card and got all my money back. It was a fair few quid too. It's fairly easy for people to make their own 'proof' of postage, so let's hope this post helps someone avoid being fleeced. |

I apologise - if missioner hadn't already posted one image trying to pass it off as the Matte print then I wouldn't have become confused when the real print actually materialised. Dicking around posting pictures trying to pass it off in the first place suggests something isn't right but we'll ignore that. I see the arrival of a new forum has brought out the best of North Korea in you - stating that there is room for more forums and then going all out to try and stamp them out - the amount of Stik pictures posted on the NBF insta has been hilarious. Thing is, I don't even think half the photos you post on the feed are even your own, stealing them from other sources without any credit whatsoever. Not only that but you actually started copying word for word their hashtags and then comment on their stream to say 'come join NotBanksyforum' - wow, you really are rolling out the welcome party and showing them you want to co-exist. Its embarrassing, shameful and fucking hilarious in equal measures - I take it commissioner is about 13 years old. This really is North Korea (and now I find you've taken away the creepy / Paedo looking thumbs-up smiley that he was so fond of) Sort yourself out. You're embarrassing yourself. You clearly have an axe to grind and you've been allowed to grind it a few times on both this and the UAA. If this were a Tesco Express, you would have been asked to leave by now. If it was North Korea, you'd be dog food. Perhaps find some healthier interests? |
