Robert Proch's website has had a bit of a refresh and features some new works ahead of his show at Openspace in May: Falling Circle (140x140cm) Quilt (200x150cm)

Love his work. Still got his last print that's waiting to be framed. Be interested to see what he does this year.

Picked up his first release from Laz last year, framing cost more than the print and it's massive but i love it. Those new originals look amazing.

Those new pieces look great. I got a small canvas a few years ago but keen to add another.

Those new pieces look great. I got a small canvas a few years ago but keen to add another. I remember seeing this fly by one ig - way back , excellent work. RP could crack his own movement if he's not careful. DG tried something similar a few years back but changed direction.

i am a big admirer of robert proch. his laz releases didnt get the okay from the missus to go on the wall, so did not buy. waiting for her to give the okay on one as i really like his style / deconstructed yet detailed aesthetic.

Hello all, I'm new here. Wandered over from that other place. Proch is a machine! I am biased as I own some of his work. His show in May will be big, around 40 new works, and he's just had a show at Laz (two if you include the group show he curated in newcastle the month before), and towards the end of this year there will be another show with Chazme at Kirk in Denmark. That means he's averaging approximately one of these intricate paintings per week. In between all that he does a wall here and there. The guy has limitless imagination and is a very hard worker. I can stare at his paintings for hours too, especially when i've smoked one! Here's my latest addition:

Was going to purchase a piece from his show but wasn't really feeling all the pieces that were left over. Far too many weird babies in the paintings for me,

Went to the opening today, it was good! Big body of work and quite a few enormous paintings! The theme wasn't really my gig, but the execution, skill and style defintely is. I hope he re-visits some of his earlier genres, i like the futuristic deconstructed style of cityscapes, building interiors and people that he was producing around 2013. Still i feel very fortunate to have seen this. With many works you're left wondering, how the hell did he do that, and how did he think of it and "see it" before he took the brush to the canvas. The exhibition space is top notch too! Go see it!
