I was unfortunately not around in the wallkandy days (used to dip in and out of uaa at the time) I also remember there being another Banksy forum (can't remember the name ATM) There was obviously a lot of good content on Wallkandy was all this lost when the forum ceased to exist ? Sadly yes, which is why it's important those that have been in on this since the early days still contribute as there is a wealth of knowledge amongst a small group of people. yeah one minute it was there next minute it was gone without warning. |

What would it take to get banned from here, can one be banned here? yes i hope so. People who 'can't or won't let it go', drives everyone insane when we have to scroll through these type of posts which appear on the recent/new posts - that's whats ruining the other place... ie. some members on the other forum just love being in the argument, I don't think it will be tolerated here. |

I would hope racism and sexism and other forms of discrimination would be high on the list of things that could get someone banned or at least taken to task .... It's definitely something I've seen widely allowed elsewhere to my dismay.

It's definitely something I've seen widely allowed elsewhere to my dismay. Yup... Racist, sexist, homophobic, or other malicious, hateful statements will not be tolerated. One of the first few posts on this forum states exactly that casual intolerance counts too (hint: "butt hurt" is homophobic. saying something is "gay" in a negative way is homophobic. Telling a woman to go wash dishes is sexist). I think this should go without saying, but I've seen phrases like this used way too much. thankfully I haven't seen anything like that on here yet At the same time, we're not out to censor anyone or have people walking on egg shells. I don't always expect people to think before they speak. Some of the best banter is thoughtless. just make sure it's not hateful |

The other forum was called the banksy forum i think but memory fades and the WK content is gone unless Ian backed it up somewhere. Seems a lot of the old WK folks have made it here which is nice. |

At 38 years old I'm guilty of a lot of things but I've never trolled anyone in my life. I could have been more grown up about it but I had found this place and decided it was the better of the 2 forums so I thought I would burn my bridges on my way over here.  |
