Yea just copied one of mikeydreads by the same way I used above '...' Then copy/share url and then paste here - done on my iPhone

not against sales in theory... just seems to be the place where all the problems start. If we can figure out a way to have a sales board that is both civil and informative, then I'd be all for it. just don't want people only coming on here if all they want to do is sell, if you catch my drift? I'd like this place to be first and foremost a place to discuss art Think that's right. Not a seller myself but do not have an issue with it as I am a buyer. But think as people on here we have to drive content as opposed to just sales threads etc. good to see you Letiss I would like to see a sales thread, its fine as a lot of buyers are forum members, how about:ebay links are allowed but members get a 10% discount if posted on the site with buyers able to pay through the site so don't have to go through ebay with the fees. everyone wins as the ebay fees are given directly to the forum buyer. might not work but just a thought. I actually thought the members policed and called out the selling only members just fine on uaa |

I think generally, those who hop on to a forum simply to sell do not do very well. By not being part of the community, members are less likely to buy as there is the inherent skepticism of carrying out a transaction with someone in which they have no familiarity.

Happy Easter to all who are celebrating! Just an FYI - I gave some mod powers to the old forum gardener and elvis to help set this place up proper. Also, dazarino is going to help set up a twitter feed (I'm not on twitter so I don't really understand what that means, but hopefully it will be cool) Please let myself and them know what you'd like to see. cheers what do you guys think about making it so only registered members can post? or even more severe, only registered members can view the forum at all? do we want lurkers? |

it's been brought to my attention that some other urban art forum may have copied an idea that originated on here. would blocking lurkers solve this problem?
