Cheers guys, glad to be here, breath of fresh air after gestapoland. Mr silk has a history of being a bit odd, but seems to have excelled himself this time, glad enough folk felt the same to organise a viable alternative. I have been ejected from over the way several times over the years. Nice to have somewhere else to head to where you are not constantly looking over your shoulder.m

In all seriousness though, I had pm'd an artist, who was keen to do something positive for Nepal, to make him aware of what was occurring on the not banksy forum . com All very 'banable' if you ask me. Well it would seem like a certain deeply unpopular guardian on 'the site that shall not be named' has just started his own 'Introduce yourself' thread. This all a week after he started a JJAdams thread a couple of days after one was started on here and stated that he'd been meaning to do this for a while'!!
Well they say that imitation is the best form of flattery so we must be doing something right if The UAA are copying us : )

don't really want to read anymore on how people got banned, there is no glory, and especially don't want to see people go on to UAA and antagonise them. what's happened has happened, now move on. have witnessed something similar in my own working environment and it's not nice to be the recipient.For the majority who have moved on,that's great, just keep going forward.

In the last few days Silk has had a look over here and was inspired to run his own Nepal fundraiser. If the artist you messaged was interested in helping you've probably been banned so they can intercept any donation and put in their own auction. I believe the other side started a JJ Adams thread after one was started over here. Most of the new topics on the other side are nowadays opened by the "guardians". But then, no surprise if you ban all the contributors. This Silk person seems to have serious issues. Most new topics next door seem to mirror topics started here. instagram thread, check. new members, check. and on. |
