I'm a big fan of contemporary/street/urban art, and own a few pieces. I'm starting to make a bit of my own art and am hoping to participate in the aspiring artists forums to get some feedback and critique. Hello and welcome

Hello all, I come straight from the other side where I've been a member since 2006.. a few year later I deserted it and went for a looooong travel.. I just get back last year and try to find my way in the forum again.. From Belgium and now living in sunny South of France, I'm a low profile collector and Invader addict. If only I knew I would have bought all that shit I'm after now back then ! Well, I can't say I will be very active here but for sure I will come to take fresh air time to time. Chris.

Hello all
I started with my love of graffiti around 30 years ago with a friends copies of subway art and spraycan art and was a tagger for many many years,
Now, I am a part time aspiring mixed media artist who has a love of all styles and genre of the arts, I have lots of projects currently in a limbo state, which actually seems to be my forte, I have a love of sculpture as well as listening projects and good old fashioned writing on walls, I am sure I will try and post something within the next coming weeks/months.

Hello I am a new old guy from the first time of this forum. Golden years, then it was a bit deserted. As all in the life... Nice to see people and friends are coming here again.

Harry Welcome !! I used to follow a group of artist sticking that brown band from music tapes on wall. They also had a device to scan and read the music. I know also they were working on an open-source markup consortium for people to play with this and have an international common in terms of graffiti music tapes. That was some years ago and sadly I can't find anymore.

Hi all.
Er well i like to draw/paint, its been about 20 years since my last piece....oh this isn't AA
I'm being drawn back into art, eager to have a go again in a different way to stuff i've previously done. Trying to get my young kids to experiment and express themselves creativley has made me want to create again for myself.
I've never been a fan of Tags, even though they have developed and improved much since the bubble writing days of my youth.
I don't often buy art. I'm more of an admirer. I have purchased the odd bit that strikes a chord somewhere inside when I can afford it, which isn't often.
The skill, imagination and often message in street art is what I appreciate. Thinking street art is there for the world to see and brighten peoples day or make them think, rather than being in a gallery or on some exclusive wall.
Anyway, i'm dying to see the jackass forum picture so i'll hit send how.

Hey All, My name is Ross and I'm an art addict. To me, this means my bank account is low, my wife is kind of mad, and I spend far too much time on the internet. Anyway, I started an art blog that focuses on affordable art. I'm hoping to get others excited about our hobby. I'm sure most people here know far more than I do, but I'm enjoying the process. If you are bored, feel free to check it out @ www.layawaydays.com. I'm going to post print releases, artist interviews, works still available from source, book reviews etc... I really want to focus on artists that make art accessible, to us collectors. Happy Collecting! instagram.com/layaway_days_art_blog

Hello everyone,
I don't get on here much as I'm in the hills somewhere.
Hopefully I can last more than 10 posts before forgetting my account.
Peace.

Hey Everyone,
We decided to finally create an official SPOKE ART account on NBF! SPOKE is an art space specializing in new contemporary painting, sculpture, and illustration with an emphasis on accessible programming. Founded in 2010, the gallery now houses two locations, one in San Francisco's Lower Nob Hill neighborhood and one in New York City's Lower East Side. Each space rotates monthly exhibits that feature a wide variety of solo and group shows, many of which feature an international roster of represented artists. Throughout the year we also host pop-up shows, as well as attend conventions and art fairs around the country. We look forward to joining the conversation with you all!

Hi Everyone, My name is Vincent and I'm a Belgian artist. Thought I'd introduce myself with some pictures, rather than lots of text. I apply no other media but spray cans and I don't use masking tape, rulers or templates of any kind. btw, looks like something went wrong posting these pictures, would appreciate if someone could tell me the best way for uploading, thx!

Remember, anyone you drink with in your first two weeks - sack them. That was desperation...
