Six years since his last major solo show with POW in London, Dran is coming back with a long awaited gallery solo show. After a large installation painted in Palais de Tokyo in Paris in 2014, live painting intervention exhibition @ POW in 2015, on June 11th 2016 Adda Gallery in Brussels will be opening “Tiens”, showing his latest paintings and unpublished drawings from 2015 to 2016. Showing all new body of work in 200 square meters historic building in the heart of Brussels, the show is shaping up to a be a landmark event. Well known for his satirical and dark humor filled drawings and paintings, this monographic exhibition will be an important event for the non conventional artist and his large following. Marking the significance of this showcase, the artist will be releasing a new book “ABCD’air” as well as a special edition of hand finished silkscreen prints. On 64 color pages his 7th book will include some of the pieces that are part of the exhibition plus previously unseen and unpublished drawings and paintings. “Finished in spring of 2016 in Barcelona, this exhibition is the product of two years of conversations, letters, pictures, drawings, nights, days and so much happiness. Anyone know if the book will be receiving a wider release? ie. being available outside of the show.

Anyone know if the book will be receiving a wider release? ie. being available outside of the show. No clue... Any chance you will be heading to Dran's exhibition dodcoquelicot ? It would be a huge favor and really cool if you secured a copy of his book for us (hopefully signed  ). I'll transfer funds if you're up for it. |

I mailed him one time and I never got an answer.
He is very discreet and secretive.
I think that he should post some signed on the web.
Anyway I can contact too some Belgian or Holland friends...

It's all good... no worries. Like most art, if its meant to be... then it's meant to be. They'll most likely pop up somewhere on the web.... eventually.

Nope, not great. Would like to know his decision making process when picking his prints. I was never keen on the 'sunset' he released last year. So many better prints could have been made, including the flyers or posters. |

Very nice and very lucky to have these. Head and shoulders over the prints though for €600. |
