what's everyone think? prefer website on the front or back? like this color instead of plain black? font on the back?   Look good, but probably smaller font on the back. Will they be in different colours/colors?  |

I may be in the minority here, but I don't like large images or words on either the front or back of t-shirts. If you are going to put the web address on the verso, I would suggest small (very small) fat block letters just below the collar. I also would suggest that the design on the from be a little smaller. And I hate gray t-shirts, particularly those that are mottled gray and look like they would make great rags when working in a garage. This is an art website, so perhaps we could inspire with a bit of color? Maybe a peach/rose color or a robin's egg blue?
Just my thoughts because you asked. And yes, I want one (2xl so I can wash it in scalding water, dry the piss out of it, and still feel comfortable).

will try to respond to all above comments in one breath.... color - since I'm printing them all by hand, we can do multiple colors... don't suspect enough will be ordered at once to warrant a wholesale bulk discount, so everyone can order whatever color they want, as long as it's available and is compatible with the ink I'm using I personally like the soft/vintage type shirts like the one in the photo, but we can do solid colors too font on back - was thinking the one shown, or possibly the stencil font that's on the banner Aza made instead... can do a mockup of that one as well and see what people think? open to other font ideas too NBF and website on the back.... my personal choice was to just go with NBF and not the url, but thought some people said they wanted it? a bunch of artists have asked to have something on the back, so it gets snapped when they're out painting so think one of them should be an option agree font on the back is too large could offer two choices - one with back and one without sleeve - never printed on a sleeve before but could pick up a sleeve platen if enough people wanted it so in short - really no shortage of options here... can do all sorts of mix and matches. would prefer to only have to use one type of ink so I don't have to clean and dry out the screens between batches, but other than that I'm open to anything, so keep the suggestions coming |

just to add another note about the ink.... gonna use either discharge ink or an opaque water based.... the discharge actually dies the fabric and works great on darker fabrics.... only downside is it can only be used on 100% cotton blanks. water base is your typical soft look/vintage style ink
there's also plastisol - hard and textured but I'm not a fan of how it feels, plus I don't have a conveyer dryer needed for them. still an option, but would have to be outsourced

after chatting with AP, think we're gonna go with a standard black tee as the basic shirt...the design will pop more on a solid color. Will do a final mockup and post later... same design in front and simple NBF in stencil font on the back (no url)
