I check out this website weekly, like looking at contemporary art I would love to be able to afford, covers a lot of cheaper releases also. But check this out and there's only 3 left!!!!! (chucked them into an "art" list) (sometimes visiting the site is manual and with that you forget - reckon if they're on twitter they'll tell me when something new comes along.. , like the artcollectorz place ... does that same... only a few times.. for each story)..

Yeah I think i amthe only one not on Twitter and Instagram, just too busy.. manual lol... I know what you mean, I prefer interaction on the forums, but Instagram is a great platform for artists but bad for collectors as you will have a new artist every week from which you fancy buying something! Dangerous!

Dangerous! think of both of them in the same way - rather than asking people for information (visit a non interactive website) , people telling you what is going on (inst / twitter). if they talk sense most of the time , keep them on your list - if it turns to garbage after a while , jettison them (case in point JR , started off fine - turned to mush after a couple of months)... being the only one is never easy .. good luck .. converting to modern stuff
