had to get straight outta London at the weekend. never been to Bexhill and wanted to see the DLW pavilion
Nice little PBlake exhibition on. Letters and collages and stuff. works well. Same themes as you get at them car boot fairs that have taken over from Santas ghetto as the must queue opportunity for the committed profiteer, clad in the ill fitting clothes of an art enthusiast - but the small show is a bit more comprehensive in its scope.
Did I buy a limited edition print ? no - but there are available at the shop.
Bexhill has some of the best charity shops I have ever seen in my life. Some delightful Deco/ colonial / Raj inspired architecture, the DWL pavilion and possibly the worst fish and chips I have ever experienced . Worth a day trip to gods waiting room if you are in the hood.
