I may be pissed cause they didn't reply but...
It was pointed out to me that none of these artists really stand to benefit from this #nocommission malarky.
Would of been better to promote some lesser known artists who really need the money.
just saying....

You were bang on mate, didn't get the whole point either, just gave an opportunity for some already quite established artists to hike prices.
No commission? Most pieces were 8k and above, the normal commission cost is 50% so I thought there might be some good deals on show but seems most were above the norm
Or maybe I'm just out of touch with prices?
The show minus the theme was actually ok, a bit American with sponsors and promotions but some really good work on show.
Loved Sandra work and always nice to see a piece by conor.

Has anyone seen Sandra Chevrier's Instagram post about the Banksy pieces hidden at nocommision? Is it true? I see a few of them via insta. Would banksy support a Bacardi sponsored Stolen Space show? & why would he stencil a 3D artwork? Deserves its own thread eh! |
