Yes as You say, ti was amazing and we would like to have more competition as this one ( as for Todd James too ).. But his one was really fabulous, we saw very very very good things ! |

With Banksy nothing is ever the way it seems - I think the gorilla was completed back when they said about releasing it - 2011 and they were just waiting for the right time to drop it. Before BOTI I had heard he was going to sell some originals at original prices i didn't believe it as there was no-way he would be able to pull something like that off, then BOTI and the Central Park stall - boom.
I heard a similar thing about the gorilla - it was complete and ready to go - but think this totally scuppered his idea. That was probably the last large edition print intended for joe public - I think it was a bad move and was designed purely to promote the print house
Saying they had glitter issues was just an inside joke
