I'll stick with my canvas very nice! is it from the untitled edition from 1992? an edition of 75 for more than 25k is crazy nevertheless. art for the rich only! are there similiar print editions releases in this price section from other artists too?

Haha, I couldn't afford a postcard by Hirst I made this for my missus Bday, pain in the arse as I'm no artist, but it turned out ok and much cheaper than a print.

For 26k, you could take your loved one to the local butterfly farm to see the prisoners hundreds and hundreds of times.
Take an orange slice and draw a heart onto his/her back and the butterflies will land in a roughly heart shape formation to feed.
Now that's proper romance.

Now that you say that, pink is a colour that I always associate with my nan. Mainly because of her bathroom.

Wowza is that an original crochet toilet roll dolly being crushed to death by its intended contents.... Classy. I can smell the lavender and rose scented soap from here! On reflection I can remember my Nan having a small collection of heart shaped sweetie boxes from the late 1940's early 1950's that she kept in her wardrobe. My favorite was a sickly sweet pink one that once contained candied fruits and smelt of palm of violets. So that must be why

Yes, they are real, but I made sure I sourced ones that had died of natural causes.

Damien Hirst on the break-in that changed his art – In 1985, a young artist in a London squat set to work on a portfolio that would secure him a place at art college. Despite initially struggling to find a medium that suited his artistic expression, Damien Hirst soon found inspiration from an unlikely source, his neighbour, Mr Barnes. We hear how a man whom Damien never met put into motion the artist’s first forays into sculpture, transformed his view on conceptual art and, ultimately, changed the way he makes it – even to this day. 23 mins podcast here: www.theguardian.com/culture/audio/2018/feb/01/damien-hirst-on-the-break-in-that-changed-his-art-the-start-podcast

It’s the only part of the film that felt genuine. Edit: Actually, that and the Historian had me. Good podcast.
