Hi guys - Headed to Paris with the family in November. Have a solid group of tips so far but looking for as much as I can muster. Specifically
1. where to stay (likely doing airbnb) 2. where to stay away from (tourist traps, rougher parts of the city) 3. where to find street work 4. museum advice 5. gallery advice

If you want some real authentic french food go check out a place called Chartier, near grande Boullivard. And obviously the Pompidou. Stay away from st denis, can be pretty rough in the night. I would recommend staying in st germain as its a great location and its a pretty area of the city.

Its a looong time since i've been, but the pompidou centre, as already mentioned, was as much of a visual feast outside as the art was inside. I hear its looking its age now though... ripe for some graf.

You've gotta go and see the Mona Lisa at the the louvre just to tick it off, when we went it's either the last or first Sunday of a month is free entry, and there is enough different styles art to see in there.

You guys are all princes! Thanks for the advice. SIN So you will have the Invader exhibition at Le Musée en Herbe, just near Le Louvres ( Rivoli métro ). Picasso museum in Le Marais is a beauty but you will be impressed by Le Musée D'Orsay and Van Gogh, Impressionists, and La Beaute du Monde from Courbet The 14 arrondissement near Denfert Rochereau e Montparnasse is the best area to stay ; central, quiet, there is the cémenterai where great people are staying : Painters as Soutine, writers as Sartre, sculptors ( Niki de st Phalle and her cat ) , photographs as Brassaï, there is even the tomb of Jean Seberg who suicided herself, etc You have cheap restaurants as Japanese ones, Britannia a that makes Breton pancakes and cider, etc... If you want to travel and have a great view on Parisn for the price of an underground ticket take the line of metro - you will pas in front of the street art fresques in the 13 ' with Obey Invader etc - Charles de Gaulle /Nation via Denfert Rochereau. It is in the air most of times You can take also the other side for the right side and you will see Pigalle and Montmartre.,, Ask any question if you want
