Great night out was had by all 99 last week, 23rd! I can only explain it as interactive theatre. We all met up at the Barge House on the canal donned our yellow KLF poncho's before following the ice cream van and chasing characters from 2023 all round Hackney, where the book is set. My favorite bit was when all 99 of us followed Chodak, a saffron robed buddhist monk that hadn't ever eaten a McDonalds into Dalston's golden arches chanting 'Big Mac & Fries'....security didn't know what was happening! Later all 99 of us took part in synchronised slow motion fly posting on Kingsland Road. We drank Jura whiskey and ate tangerines and mince pies before heading back to the Barge House to sing shanty songs with BadgerKull. A thoroughly enjoyable and somewhat mentalist night out in true Justified Ancients of Mu Mu style. If you haven't read 2023 yet .....treat yourself l-13.org/product/the-justified-ancients-of-mu-mu-2023-a-trilogy/Banksy is mentioned throughout so could be some clues in there for the conspiracy theorists! K2 Plant Hire Ltd’s directors, Jimmy Cauty and Bill Drummond, will mark the 2018 instalment by revealing an Unexpected Item in Toxteth Town Hall. This Unexpected Item will be available for inspection by the public between the hours of noon and 9pm on Friday 23 November, 2018. In order to gain entrance to Toxteth Town Hall during these hours, members of the public (see T&Cs*) must present security staff with one full sized supermarket shopping trolley. The shopping trolley is non-returnable. November 23, 2018, is, coincidentally, Black Friday. Therefore K2 Plant Hire Ltd have come up with an attractive range of one-time offers for those wishing to obtain MuMufication (details below). Meanwhile, 399 living people will be enlisted on a journey to forge Toxteth Day Of The Dead traditions that will withstand the next thousand years.
