how does it make you feel when a movie or tv show gives someone a British accent just to make them seem evil? (sorry but I've always wondered )

I just root for the evil guy. It makes a change to South African, or fake eastern European, which it used to be. It also gets revenge for the tobacco chewing Louisiana Sheriff J.W. Pepper from James Bond films type character stereotype of Americans. But as a nation you voted Trump in...... do we need a reminder now.

I'm thinking.... normally the evil characters have an RP accent, thats Eton Oxford/Cambridge university educated... like the pig shagging ex PM. Most Brits sound nothing like that... and hate the politicians just as much as the evil villans in Hollywood movies. Northern Accents.... Game of thrones, Winterfell/The wall... they are the good guys

something else that always bugged me... take a movie like Schindler's list - all the principles speak English with some sort of vague accent, including Goth and other SS leaders , but the unnamed German/Nazi soldiers all speak German. is that meant to distance the viewer from those characters? or so we know the Nazi's are evil?
that's a famous example but there are countless others where the bad guy - if they're foreign - speaks English, but their subordinates speak the mother language. is that to dumb it down for English speaking audiences, or is Hollywood being a bit racist?

stereotyping existing in ... well everywhere. it's like a form of phishing or grooming ... entices you to think something is real/valid/true ... at the behest of the ... director/media producer/editor. .. whilst it may in fact not be real at all. you can ignore it .. or have it make you think it's real / (read spam) when "applied" in certain social circumstances it engenders .. what can only be described as a form of fundamentalism. (aka chemical reaction) the same can be thought of "graf/ stree tart/ urban ert" where the subject matter is vague or can be construed in a different way by different people. ..just another obstacle to take note of and move along.... you collect them like bingo as you get older.. but for some... "no more mature!"
