True story - modifiers should not be used with the word 'unique'. Things are not 'slightly' unique. They are unique, or they are not. Not the OP's issue but, like litter, these things need to be tackled whenever we come across them...
Other linguistic issues I have are -
The use of fun. 'It's going to be sooooo fun!' No, fuck you, I hope you choke on your own hair.
The use of medalled. 'He medalled in the 800m'. No, I'd like to drag you behind my car for 800m.
The use of literally. 'The gap was literally a mile wide'. I'd like to literally punch your heart out of your chest.
