ArtZuid 2015
Foundation ArtZuid is currently finishing organizing 2015 edition of their International Sculpture Route in Amsterdam. ArtZuid is an open air sculpture biennial with this year’s route consisting of about 73 monumental outdoor sculptures placed through the Berlage’s Art Deco district in Amsterdam South, just outside the city center. This concept doesn’t only invite people to enjoy art objects in public space by walking or cycling the route, but also, it gives a chance to discover another area of Dutch capital.
The fourth edition of the event will take place between the 22nd May and 22nd September using an innovative exhibition concept involving eighteen ‘podia’ in the open areas of the route stretching 2.5 km. The participating artists list includes such names as Ai Weiwei, Frank Stella, and KAWS, with each having a podium of their own.
