So awesome; glad to see and read about the process - he is a really great artist. Agreed - really like seeing the 'behind the scenes' stuff

SCATTERCROW One year after his latest print release for the sold out solo exhibition "Law of The Weakest" in London, Pejac is proud to announce a new limited edition. Firmly dedicated to transfer the amount of details from his original work into this release, the artist decided to work with old-fashioned stone lithography technique for the first occasion. From painting directly on the limestone using traditional materials and chemicals, to hand pulling each copy of the print, "Scattercrow" is the kind of time-honored fine art edition rarely seen these days. Edition run of 80 103 x 72.5 cm (44.55 x 28.54 inches) 1 color hand pulled stone lithography Hahnemühle 300grs paper Embossed stamp, signed and numbered by the artist Includes Certificate of Authenticity 1.000€ (10% vat and shipping not included) The print will be available for purchase on Friday July 14th 2017 at 6PM CEST (12PM EDT) anyone going for one of these beauties?

Yep! I'm gonna have a try for one. Unsure if it will be a quick sellout like his others or if the price will put people off. Will it be slower and take quite a few hours? Who knows only time will tell.
Good Luck anyone going for one today.

How many are going to be available in a weeks time at double the price on ebay?
If people flip them perhaps the artist priced too cheaply.... or there are just too many people that buy for investemnt, like stocks and shares, and don't actually care about the art.
I like the image, but couldn't afford the release price let alone a flippers price.

I like the image, but couldn't afford the release price let alone a flippers price. there's a large contingent of people who only buy with the intention to make money. saddest of all is the artists who are broke while others make fortunes on their brilliance. if you haven't seen it yet, you gotta watch the great Robert Hughes doc (yes I recommend it too much, but I think anyone who wants to get into collecting art needs to see it)

its on... i'll watch tonight once kids are put to bed.
Edit: I love it, i hadn't seen it before. Thank you.
He sums up my feelings about most Hursts and Warhols. Among their bodies of work there is the odd gem ... but the machine of re worked concepts to me devalues the artistic merit of all of it.
The art as commodity market, I have only recently seen the evidence of it below the level of Van Goghs etc.... the hype, talking up, the flipping for a quick buck. I have no interest in that. To me Art is Art, not investment, its to be looked at and enjoyed.
I can like some of an artists work but not other pieces of work. Its cash value?... well to me that should be time, materials and talent in execution and concept - the artist deserves that for their work. An agent deserves a %.
Flippers deserve to be burned, hopefully by flooding the market so the artist gets the cash. [Evil] smilry

or it'll be 4 separate releases think he's just painting on a paneled wall I'd prefer it he completely rewrote the script. Releasing each panel in editions of 50 and all at the very same time with only 1 per customer.

Not simply a tree ( I had to “ fight “ on the other board with a guy saying “ it’s just a tree “ Sorry it’s not just a tree it’s a wall too with an awesome artwork full of meaning. Thanks Fed

are the bricks shaded, or have they been recessed?
either way, the full view reveals a great image...
