Has anyone been screen shotting his Banksy posts by any chance? He posted a shot of Banksy holding a Banksy tag in front of his face a few days ago. I commented that he was wearing Robin Gunningham's shoes. They were identical to the shoes from the Daily Mail shot. And he was wearing nearly identical way too long jeans. Today, Steve perhaps not coincidentally deleted all of his posts. So I'm curious if anyone happened to get a screen shot.

Found it in a repost. I wouldn't say it's 100% definitive. But it's interesting. Especially considering Steve nuked his entire Instagram account a day after I pointed it out.   |

Ahh... this is why Steve Lazarides is angry...
I hear about Robin Gunningham since I like street-art and post it on Facebook. So it’s not really a secret. Now ( not as back in the years ) I think that it’s really different and there is official/unofficial PR » stamping » the next Banksy.
Anyway ( I put a comment too about « silhouette 👤 » , but it was not wrong at all, we are the people and we know nothing )...
It’s just a bit worrying that Laz have to delete his post and if it’s because of me, I apologize. But I think rather that some people dmed him about certain photos .,,
What do you think , girls and boys ?
Edit : i was friend with RG on Facebook too ( amazing unknown pictures ), but who know who held it ( « Banksy is not on Facebook » - but what about RG then ? ) . It’s maybe a coïncidence, but his Facebook have been deleted the day I spoke about a long and kind message that I received from a « guy » supposed to be him ( can’t say more ) to certain friends..
Anyway just talking .,

Another interesting tidbit. I posted that the image had been reposted and that you could find it if you searched #banksy. That's no longer the case, I tried to find it again and it's gone. Possibly removed for a copyright claim.

The Mirror ‘s one was the shock ( if we really think that Gunningham is the one, could be Banks too :-) , depends of the weather ). Anyway is it still important? Nope. I have seen a lot of pics of Invader ( one day he was making a live and 💥 returned the phone on his face ahaha ) , we all know his real name, I gave his two adresses and so what ? Nothing. I don’t share that, I dont care, we are talking about artists and art, not «people »( in the way of gossips that you can read in Gala etc etc ) .. Anyway Banksy is now an institution, he will never be caught , and police *, justice, even Sotheby’s, won’t make anything against him, at the contrary  He is the most wellknown unknown artist, and we like him because of this ! * Maybe some countries as USA ( he took some precaution for Boti , because the story with the cop wanting to catch him ) China, Russia , could still make trouble with him .. |

Book info email update for anyone interested - much cheaper than I expected at £25 Currently my best option for a Di-faced tenner BANKSYCAPTURED.COM Righty-ho my lovelies, The book goes on sale at the beginning of December - the 1st to be precise but with postal as it is this time of year, please offer some patience for the poor people packaging things up for me. Cost is £25 plus post and packaging. As promised, the first fifty books sold will include a Di-Faced Tenner. One per buyer - you’ll be able to order as many books as you want - but if you’re the first customer and order fifty books, you will only get one Tenner. Fair’s fair. These will be contained in numbers 101-150. The first 100 are mine!! The first print run is a numbered edition of 5000. We already have way more of you on mailing list than that so don’t panic, the second print run is already on the press. book is being released tomorrow:
The day is here. Is it Christmas already I hear you cry!?! No wonderful people, we are releasing BANKSY CAPTURED - this Sunday - the very first day of December at 7PM GMT on our website.
Unlike Banksy’s recent auction price, you will need just £25 plus postage and packaging to buy the book.
For those of you buying prints from the site, we know stock is running low but there’ll be a new print drop before Christmas so keep checking for new images.
Now for the really fun part. We have the Di-Faced Tenners primed for the first fifty of you ordering books. The rules are one per customer. If you get there quickly and order 100 books you’ll still only get one tenner. Obviously you can buy as many books as you want but you’ve only got one shot at a tenner. Fair’s fair.
And of course there’s still that unsigned Banksy print to talk about. One lucky bugger will have a larger parcel than anticipated arriving…
We are over the moon that we’ve received way more interest on the site than previously expected. Thank you all! To combat the demand we already have a second edition print run of the book on the go. Different cover, same contents. Just like British politics. We’d like to try and get that to you before Christmas too but we’ll have to see how these elections go!
For those of you sending love and requests, we will endeavour to respond to the mountain of emails as soon as we can - it’s been a bit of a crazy time here in Soho with the site launching.
Making this book seemed a good idea at the time - after two years of head scratching, scanning and editing it’s finally done and I’m so excited to share it with you all.

I royally screwed up.
The page didnt go through until a minute or two later and then it added over 3 books and said I couldn't check out more than 3 (with no option to simply "remove" added books).
I guess I can only cross my fingers for the print.

Given that these things regularly go live early I don’t understand why people aren’t ready to go a few minutes early.
I was refreshing from 655, used Apple Pay for a quick check out and got my confirmation email at 658. Still don’t think I have a low enough order number though.
I really want the book though so happy anyway with a first edition.

I was on there a couple minutes early and got an order in the 1740's... don't know where the numbering started though. crossing my fingers
if anyone is desperate enough for a tenner and has the cash, he's been selling them for $900 (i think)

Regularly go live early- Do they?
I might not have enough experience, but of the times I've tried buying something at launch, they haven't gone live early (beyond maybe a few seconds). I also was at the website earlier, but refreshing didn't go through. Maybe it was a connection issue?
Hopefully everyone enjoys the purchase and gets lucky with something extra...I just think that when you're trying to create hype for your book, you gotta do your best to level the playing field, especially when you say "fair's fair."
Also he wrote "you’ll be able to order as many books as you want" in the E-mail. Not that I meant to buy more than 1, but after adding 4 accidentally it was hard to remove items from the cart and I got a "no more than 3" error.
