Sparks Charity, Children's Medical Research Charity, have a Oli Epp print for auction in their Winter Ball gala.
Executed in 2019, this limited-edition screen print titled You Spin me Right Round is a prime example of Oli Epp’s witty take on the everydayness. Depicting a man preparing the typical Turkish food on rotating spit, the work focusses on one of the common situations experienced in a cosmopolitan city. You Spin me Right Round showcases Oli Epp’s instantly recognisable style of simplified characters and twists it with a double-focus, immersing the viewer into a late-night inebriated visit to the kebab shop.
Aside from this silent auction lot, this print will be exclusively available at the opening night of Oli Epp’s upcoming show at Carl Kostyál gallery, London on December 12th, seeing people fly from all over the world to take their chances and queue up to take home one of the remaining screen-prints.
The successful bidder will also be entitled to an exclusive studio visit for two in Oli Epp’s studio in Chancery Lane, London. Oli Epp’s Solo Show will be on view at Carl Kostyál Gallery, London from 12 December 2019 to 28 January 2020.
Terms and conditions: You Spin Me Right Round screen-print on Somerset Satin White 410 gsm, cut edge, framed 73.5 x 64cm. Executed in 2019, this work is from an edition of 100 plus 15 artist’s proofs. Winner will receive edition 10 of 100. The print is currently in production and will be sent to the winner after the event. Image is of the original painting. The studio visit is valid until December 2020, date to be mutually agreed with Oli Epp.
