Would love to cut my framer loose on "modernizing" that beauty w/the right piece in it. Beautiful find! |

Beautiful find! same here been meaning to get something into ornate frame. great find, happy days.. Recently upgraded the framing on one of these Takamatsu pieces to a more ornate frame and then had it painted a satin black...tough to photograph, but I really love the effect in person. I also took the opportunity to get both of these pieces outfitted w/museum acrylic (made me an instant believer). I can now breathe a lot easier when people are popping a bottle of red wine at dinner or my kids and their friends are shaking up a juice box. Our design aesthetic is definitively modern, but I'm starting to really like the classic/contemporary/modern mash up aesthetic. Tons of cool stuff coming from companies like Moooi. MOOOII'm going to post the pics in separate posts as I'd like to get to 25 so I can start a sales thread here...Mods can certainly merge if that is against the rules (and I can start plugging in GLWTS posts in my quest for 25)...  |

Huge thanks to my wife and kids for this lovely Father's Day gift...I'm not sure if I should read into the "It is my heartfelt desire to improve but I never do" title. I treated myself to the framing (tough to capture in a photo, but it has a small bleed through of red around the dots on the frame that really pulls the piece together).    gorgeous! |
