Been AWOL from this forum for a bit, so I thought I would share my latest art buy. Barry McGee, unique variant. 4 unique variants were released. I now have 2 of the 4. I am fucking pumped.

My eyes hurts but i finally got the pattern. Very nice pick up haha, yeah they work best when paired with the McGee faces. It’s like mixing juice with liquor, takes the bite off and adds balance. The images work better together than separately.

I like dscovering new artists, at least new to me. After seeing her drawings/paintings on Instagram, I was able to acquire two pieces from Mongolian artist Nymka LKH, who is currently living in South Korea. Both are a bit macabre, but quite powerful. One is a take on cancer and inner beauty, and the other is a statement about the destruction of forests.

Phlegm. Phlegm. Phlegm. I've never been able to separate the art from the name and the name means the thick viscous substance secreted by the mucous membranes of the respiratory passages, especially when produced in excessive quantities during a cold. Snot, basically. Throat snot.
I'm not even trying to be flippant. Every time I read of this artist it makes me think of greenys. Like if he was called skid stain, dick cheese, puke. Saliva. Look at this beautiful paining. Oh, is it by Remrandt? No, Arse Crack.

Phlegm "Say what?"

Sickboy 'Forever' hand cast resin sculptures; special and standard edition, both with hand painted back panels. Lovely weight to these.

Looks good, can you tell which part of the print is hand finished? Only some small pencil strokes around the printed part. Hard to see at the picture I guess. It gives it a little bit of dynamic like the hand and the tank are moving... To be honest I expected more handfinishing but for that price I can't complain and as said it is a nice print nevertheless!
