Not exactly a cocktail. But a lack of coke in the uni drink machine years ago made me discover JD and Dr Pepper is in fact pretty dam good. Another contender to add to the "Not exactly a cocktail" list: The Cheeky Vimto. 1 bottle of Blue WKD. + Half a bottle of red wine. Mix. Best served down in one. The first time I heard of it, I was in Newcastle hanging out with a bunch of Geordies. The evening got very messy, very quickly. Oddly enough the drink itself was rather nice – tasted exactly like Vimto

Any good suggestions for cocktails this time of year? Could do with getting a few bits and pieces in. I could do with a few ideas as well ! Was in a hotel last night and decided to make a Long Island ice tea by mixing all of the tiny bottles in the mini bar, and adding some ice tea. 1-it tastes like shit 2-my headaches So anyone who knows anything suggest a good holiday drink please !

your not supposed to add to a good Sake
However Sake makes really good Mojito's. Really suits a trad Mojito for me.
Other good ones are basically also vodka style cocktails. Similarly if you blend raw really ripe fruit such as strawberrys, cherries raspberry etc seperate not a mix add a dash of the blended fruit to Ice cold sake...... Cracking fruit shots.

[ I pretty much thought you shouldn't add to it' like any good alcohol, but serves people right for gifting me with fancy stuff when I am just a drunk. Love the mojito idea ! Will def give it a try
