Not sure how legit this is but seems pretty official. Doesn't seem like something Banksy would do. Feel free to discuss. More info here

Would Banksy really agree to this?
The detail looks good on the liita but not sure how much I'd want it in my house

Yeah... I agree with you dungle ... Having bought several Kaws Toys (I mean, sculptures)... Most of them on the secondary market (before they were faked)... It just doesn't ring true... Stranger things have happened. Caveat emptor. Carry on.

"The Tokyo-based event was the stage on which an array of unusual merchandising, including cushions, rugs, clocks and figurines, in the style of the British artist’s most iconic works, was revealed to the public."
Cushions? RUGS?!
"Have a nice lay"?

Medicom have a lot of licenses but I don't think this looks/sounds legit.

The merchandise shown here is so naff, they can't be legit.

Having said that, the Banksy clock is rather cute. "What time is it? It's graffiti time!"
I also like the skateboard ironing board.

That's a very kitschy display though. I think they missed a trick by not having a version of the flying ducks on the wall.

Who knows - it could be another Banksy curve ball like his market stall outside Central Park.

No, of course not. But I'm sure the manufacturer can sell plenty in the meantime until there is definitive denial. The fat rat is funny.

Definitive denial will also create a hype. No official denial will ever been given....Edit : I apologise! I've just heard back from the official Banksy denial service... The denial IS official.

To second Json's comment... Jo Brooks says "they are nothing to do with Banksy"

So is this a prank? Is this Medicom making products "in the style of"?? Is this Medicom full embracing the parasitical world of street art merchandising? Wouldn't this be a naff thing for Medicom to do? Is this even connected to Medicom? Are any of us really here?

The dface ones are genuine so this is all very odd if they are fake. If they're real let's hope they are large enough editions to match the inevitably huge demand.
