Just 24 Hours left to save your NHS
When the conservatives talk about the 10 Billion they are investing into the NHS this is actually what they mean. I wouldn't be surprised if the 350million a week that was promised during the Brexit campaign does eventually happen although by that time it won't be going to the NHS it will be going to the land owners/share holders of the NHS. And then no doubt transferred to an off shore account, all at the expense and paid for by the tax payer. I think its commonly known as a total stitch up.

Massive Attack:
We have been lucky enough to make a good living from music. I respect the need to pay back into society in order to enjoy the freedoms and benefits that it provides me and my family.
I want to live in a country that is progressive and open but safe from extremism and oppression, surely we need a government that will tackle poverty and inequality and that will invest in education.
The continued policy of austerity and a lack of investment is not working.
I'm happy to pay more personal tax to maintain our welfare system and keep it fair, but the corporations that benefit from the UK tax payers' spending need to put back into the system in order for it to function. That should be an obligation and not an option.
We all need to do our bit, we can't cut public service budgets and still expect to live in safe cites, protected by the bravery of the police and emergency services. Their job is now harder then ever and we have witnessed their sacrifice and courage in the recent unpredictable terror attacks.
We have to support the hospitals and all of their staff in order to maintain faith in a the health system and reinforce that idea that their tireless hard work will be rewarded and benefit a health happy population.
Jeremy Corbyn is the one of the few politicians that will talk straight and answer questions without resorting to robotic rhetoric and tired sound bites.
The idea that Corbyn is a terrorist sympathiser, because like all peacemakers he chose to engage in dialogue and diplomacy is completely ridiculous and defies the logic of democracy and security.
We need a government that will offer the whole country a real choice on Brexit regarding the single market, freedom of movement and the customs union.
Not more fortune tellers hiding behind 'the will of the people' line.
The people are sick and tired of politics and want honesty and action. We'll be voting Labour.

I admire the hope, but May will win.
The only question is by how much and how it will affect the speed of Brexit.
Also, who had a bigger impact on the vote: three losers with kitchen knives and a rented lorry or the Banksy PR machine?
Food for thought.

The silent vote that has existed for donkeys years here, is no longer so silent. And after years of not engaging with politics its fair to say they havnt been engaging with political pollsters. The sleeping giant is going to take this one back for the masses. This has been a clusterfuck from the beginning and the press desperately trying to force public opinion so hard has had the opposite effect. After all the stupid things she has done during this campaign she has managed to ensure a large chunk of sleeping electorate is awake, she has pissed off her own voters, and she has cemented the view that a vote for tory is a vote for the rich and she has come over as incompetant and weak, full of shit, shown she will turn on any decision she makes if she thinks it may cost her votes. Shes weak, the only ones that didnt notice are the ones that vote Tory because they vote tory. (my sister, auntie, mum, cretins!)

The Conservatives have had 7 years in power to begin to address the needs of this country and the welfare of its people.
This is from my local paper. Stratford-Upon-Avon is not considered a poor or deprived area.
In my time at the local food bank, I've seen its recipients change from the more obviously in need, to those that you can clearly see have never had to ask for assistance before. I've seen middle class families start to use the food bank. I've seen mums outside crying, pacing back and forth with their children because they're too embarrassed to go inside. You have to go outside and tell them it's ok and that they're welcome.
I've see the same people crying while thanking the staff for the food and toiletries that they are being given. Lower middle class families are now starting to struggle to make ends meet. As the poor and working class have been bled dry, the cuts more upwards toward the middle class. These families are now sitting in the food bank, next to the homeless, mentally ill, substance abusers, etc, etc. All of them victims of austerity and 7 years of Conservative rule.
Austerity doesn't work. It hasn't worked.
Years of austerity, yet the national debt has increased wildly.
Given a mandate to deliver a "hard brexit", the Conservatives will push through radical measures and cuts that will make the cuts of the past 7 years seem generous. All in the name of "making Britain great again". People will suffer. It might not be your family right now. But it might be soon.
Don't get sick. Don't be poor. Don't get old.
The Conservatives had more than a chance. They've had 7 years in charge and the country has only gotten worse. Anyone can see that.
Please vote Labour.

and if you don't have the spare time, donate some food, even if it is just tin of Tesco value beans. it could mean the difference between a child eating and a child going hungry.

Also toiletries, shampoo, soap, loo roll, etc.
There's nearly always something on offer in the supermarket. Or if you just have some in-date tins of items you don't think you'll eat, just bung 'em in the car and drop them off in the donation bin when you go shopping.

Also, if you want to donate to your local food bank but you don't have much money yourself, simply take some tins off the shelf of your local supermarket and place them in the donation bin.
You haven't had to pay for them and you haven't taken them out of the store without paying either. So no shoplifting charges.
And what supermarket is going to take donated items back out of the donation bin?
Edit: You might want to get the legal team of your choice to cast their eyes over any suggestions that I make, BEFORE you do anything. Certainly suggestions that rather confidently end with "So no shoplifting charges".
Edit: Tell them it's an art happening?

Not quite with the same charitable outcome, but reminds me of something I did a few years back. I think I must have been having a bad day! I went to my local homebase on a busy Saturday and put my pound in to get a trolley. After I had finished shopping and loaded my goods in the car, I went to take the trolley back. Ah yes, that's when the fun began! No fuckin trolley of the same size was outside. They had about 3 different styles of trolleys and none of them the same as mine, so none of those stupid chains with a slot thingy would reach my trolley. After spending a good few minutes trying to get my hard earned money back and my missus laughing at me from the car... no luck! So I had two options: 1. Go to customer services and tell them of my dilemma and retrieve my £1 back. 2. Leave my trolley in the trolley bay and just forget about it and get on with my day/life. I went for option three Back in the store I went and decided to spend the next ten minutes filling my trolley(£1 coin still attached) with every tiny bag of nuts, bolts, screws, hinges and washers I could get my hands on I had every shopper in the aisle and even a homebase shelf stacker staring at me and my madness. I then just left the trolley in the aisle, knowing my hard earned £1 coin was very well spent and that it would cost homebase much more for someone to put all this back on the correct shelves. I left the store feeling quite satisfied, although slightly deranged for my revenge! Anyway, if the employer of the homebase that day is an NBF member, I sincerely apologise
