Mikey this information is priceless ...... fanks a squillion ....... how does one go about arranging this? One of my most cherished pinch yourself moments was hanging out with Lee Scratch Perry, Tricky, Robert Smith and the Mad Professor while a French radio station interviewed him in his dressing room at the Meltdown Festival. The first thing he said to me was "The lady never guess she knows". Precious moments Excuse the thud of a massive name drop I just need to KNOW how to get one!

I saw Lee Scratch Perry about 15 years ago in Hackney. I'd been drinking all day and was really worse for wear, he was stoned off his head and about 2 hours late.......turned out to be one of the best gigs I've ever been to!
Anyway, that's my anicdote done!

The pay it all back tours were in the early 90's Attended many a gig at the Town & Country club with them. Dub Syndicate & Bim Sherman were excellent. amboguy If it was at Ocean in 2001 or 2004 I was there too. Saw him in Rome not too long ago & the crowd were trying to ply him with champagne & spliffs. Don't think they understood or wanted to believe him when he said that he doesn't smoke or drink anymore! Hope he lives forever.

I really, really loved that whole scene - Lee Perry, Gary Clail, Tackhead Sound System, Doug Wimbish etc. At that point I didn't understand how far ahead of its time it really was.

Just got a reply saying they still had some left. Think my 4 year old daughter may have to throw on some old Upsetters & work up something this weekend. Curious tho if anyone else had traded? And if so what were the results of sent AND received?

What about Humanicity or his work with the Orb. I could go on..

They let me send a jpeg of the piece as a place holder since I told them it would take a bit to get there living in the US

I was referring to whether anyone had swapped for the hand painted sleeve'd album & were they happy w/ either or both results, ie artwork & music? Sorry, should've been more specific.
