Hi folks, I thought I start a thread for my son's and my own creations. I work under the moniker and tag 'smile'. My son chose 'free man' which is a literal translation of his name. I did a lot of stencils but turned to more abstract things recently. Here's one of the latest pieces I did. Spray paint and acrylic paint on scrap wood (a dinner tray friends of mine wanted to throw away).

I had to refurbish the wood, painted the outside dark olive and the inside white and then worked with sandpaper. Title is 'Bridging'.

Thanks a lot for the compliment and likes. I take the Remi Rough comparison as the biggest possible appraisal. It's much appreciated as I'm doing it for hobby only.

... and now something completely different: here is a little piece (30x80cm) we (my son and I) did for his grandfather respectively my father in law as a birthday present. He loves to go fishing while my mother in law hates it (at least a bit). So we hope both will somehow like it. Spray paint with stencilled elements. Please excuse the crappy phone pics. Colors are much more vibrant.

Nice work, esp with father-son quality time. Like the little touches of Jose Parla in them. Keep it going.
